Location: Remote, U.S.
- Represent clients throughout the VA disability claims and appeals process, including at hearings before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
- Prepare and review applications, appeals, and legal documentation to support claims.
- Analyze medical records, VA decisions, service records, and other evidence to develop strong legal arguments.
- Work closely with VA paralegals and Client Support Coordinators to ensure timely collection of records, client communication, and documentation.
- Monitor case status via the VA and Board of Veterans’ Appeals systems and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Maintain thorough documentation in the firm’s case management system.
- Provide compassionate legal guidance to clients navigating the complexities of the VA system.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to a supportive, mission-driven culture.
- Required: Active law license or ability to obtain licensure within one month of hire
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage a large caseload efficiently
- Prior experience with VA disability claims, Social Security Disability, or appellate work is a plus—but not required
- Must be coachable, collaborative, and client-focused
